Sunny Satin ~ Founder & Educator
Sunny is an outdoor educator, regenerative farmer, land steward, and youth program leader with more than a decade of experience working with children in the outdoors. She has directed outdoor education programs, worked as a park ranger, managed a regenerative farm, and taught nature based education throughout California and Oregon. She has completed recent background checks and screenings.
Her teaching blends imaginative play, hands on learning, and practical nature survival skills to help children become more confident, capable, and connected to the outdoors. With a warm, grounded, and responsive approach, Sunny creates small group experiences where every child feels known, supported, and free to learn in their own way.
Sunny understands how much trust it takes to send your child into the outdoors with someone new. She takes that trust and responsibility seriously, holding each adventure with close attention to safety, thoughtful preparation, clear communication, and genuine care for every child.
Dani Satin
Dani Satin is an educator at Strong Earth with a degree in Environmental Earth Science and a minor in Education from University of California, Berkeley.
Her work is rooted in a deep and lasting connection to Bay Area ecology. Over the years, she has spent time exploring, observing, and learning from the landscapes of this region, developing not only a strong understanding of the natural world, but a genuine relationship with it. This connection shapes the way she teaches, bringing a sense of place, awareness, and care into every experience with children.
Dani has a natural gift for working with kids. She brings a calm, grounded, and attentive presence to the group, meeting each child where they are and creating an environment where they feel safe to explore, take risks, and grow. Her warmth and genuine care help children feel seen and supported, while her curiosity and enthusiasm invite them to engage more deeply with the world around them.
